Since 2018, I’ve been collaborating with the tourism board of Lana, a partnership that has turned this charming destination in South Tyrol into a second home for me.
When I was first invited, it was a classic press trip, that entailed me sharing my impressions via Instagram stories and posts. Seven years later, this partnership has grown into a long-term collaboration. While I still create content for social media and write blog entries, my primary focus now lies in producing photos for the tourism board’s print guides, website, social media, and various advertising campaigns.
Exploring Lana’s landscapes through my lens means staying true to its essence. From hiking trails to serene vistas, I aim to capture the calmness, joy, and candid moments of the experience – balancing intricate details with the broader scenes to tell a complete story.
Every hotel and restaurant in Lana has its own personality, and my goal is to bring that to life. I highlight inviting spaces, thoughtful details, and the unique character that makes each place unforgettable. That includes the people behind the scenes: I love being invited into the kitchens (the heart of everything if you ask me) and watch the chefs at work.
For me, listening to local stories and traditions is just as important as capturing the visuals, ensuring each image reflects the heart of Lana’s craftsmanship. My photography focuses on documenting the process from blossom to apple, from grape to vino, following each step from start to finish.
